Masala Pattice pav with special garlic chutney recipe


Hello, My foodies welcome back and today I am going to share with you guys a very authentic dish which is the combination of Maharashtra and Portuguese food. So, as you know this is history.

In India except for everything that came in our country and after excepting it we give it our own taste. So, yes I am talking about Pattice it’s a Portuguese dish where all the masala gets locked and gets grilled on a traditional bread with very special chutney. So, Today I am going to share with you an awesome recipe of masala Pattice pav with special garlic chutney let’s start with chutney.

For making Garlic chutney we need.


  • Garlic(22 no’s).
  • Kashmiri dried red chili(unseed).
  • Hot boiling water.
  • Salt(1 tablespoon).
  • Green onions root.


Take a bowl and put all the dried red chili but, before adding it into bowl remove all the seeds from it and then put it in a bowl and put all boil water and soak the chilies for 20 minutes.

And now take a blender add notes of garlic crushed with a knife and then put all soaked red chilies without adding any water Blend it for a sec open the tap and add salt green onions root and now again blend it into fine paste.

Your tasty garlic chutney is ready you can use it for making masala pav with pav bhaji also.

Filling ingredients:

  • Boiled potato(7 cut into squares).
  • Salt(as per taste).
  • Turmeric powder(half tablespoon).
  • Ginger(finely chopped).
  • Green chilies.
  • Ajwain.
  • Pachporan.
  • Fresh corainder leaves.
  • Garlic(finely chopped).
  • Oil.


Take a bowl add all pilled boiled potatoes after adding it add a paste of ginger, garlic and green chillies and add the paste in bowl with a salt.

Now give it a mix with hand and then heat up a pan with drizzle of oil after oil get heated up add ajwain turmeric powder and half tablespoon of pachporan and saute them for a bit.

And then add all the mixture of potatoes and mix them well together. Now let it cool down and add corainder leaves and mix it.

Now apply some oil on hand and make a tikki shape on hand make a nice flat circle shape and now fry it on tava.your Pattice is ready and it’s time for a serve.

Serving ingredients:

  • Pav.
  • Tomato.
  • Onions.
  • Chat masala.
  • Garlic chutney.
  • Ready Pattice.

Serving process:

Take a pan add some garlic chutney on a pan now add pav and let pav soak all the masala and after that open the pan add some slices of tomato and onions now add ready hot pattice with a pinch of chat masala.Guess what.

Your hot and tasty masala pav Pattice ia ready serve it hot with some hot garlic chutney.
