IPL 2020 to be held in UAE

The International Cricket Council has announced the postponement Of T20 World Cup 2020, giving Indian Premire League chance to held IPL in September. According to IPL Governing Council Chairman Brijesh patil they are looking to hold IPL 2020 in UAE and have written to the government for permission.
IPL 2020, which was going to held in late March 2020 was postponed due to covid 19 pandemic. Therefore BCCI was searching a different alternatives to held it later in the India. Many countries like Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and UAE has offered to host the IPL. Emirates Cricket Board had offered the IPL board to host the tournament in UAE, telling that they had the required infrastructure for it.
The BCCI wants to hold this tournament between September 26 and November 7, but the broadcasters want to stage it between September 26 and November 14. While official dates are yet to be decided.
